Fans of the shoot-em-up (commonly referred to as Shmup) genre probably already know that shoot-em-ups are far more nuanced than simply spamming the trigger button to shoot down opponents. The best shoot-em-ups offer a "musicality" or pattern of gameplay that is easy to learn but tough to master. Sophstar, a recent entry in this Game genre, offers these attributes and so much more.

This game offers different characters to choose from, each with his/her own strengths and weaknesses, as well as multiple difficulty levels.

Music is always important in video games, and the Shmup genre is no exception. Sophstar features great high octane music that conveys the mood for each stage perfectly.

Sophstar offers a very rewarding gameplay experience to those who are fans of the Shmup genre, or are new to the genre. It is highly recommended!
