I, AI Offers Great Level Design and Replay Value

Fans of the shoot-em-up (or more specifically shmup) genre probably already know that shoot-em-ups are far more nuanced than simply spamming the trigger button to shoot down opponents. The best shoot-em-ups offer a "musicality" or pattern of gameplay that is easy to learn but tough to master. This game offers these attributes and so much more.

Each level offers a lot of variety and has its own distinctive look and charm.

In addition to the great gameplay which has a logical rhythm to it, the game also offers a unique currency system. After defeating an enemy, you earn resources which serve as currency. You get to keep your earnings regardless of whether you conquer the stage or are defeated. Thus, the currency system is very fair and well-implemented. Rewards accumulate when you succeed and provide help and encouragement to those that are having difficulty progressing through the game.

The controls are also tight and responsive, ensuring that even when the difficulty progresses, the game always remains fair.

The graphics, music and voice acting are all beautifully done and help to create a mysterious mood.

I, AI offers a very rewarding experience to those who are fans of the genre, or are new to the genre, and is highly recommended!
